There’s always a place of safety,
Which God has reserved for me.
Though sometimes I may be fearful,
By the eye of faith I will see.
Humans must handle the grief and pain,
Some question the fairness of God.
We cannot heal the torment of tears,
While trav’ling upon earth’s sod.
I may fail to answer all questions which come,
For tragedies never cease.
But I know that God is preparing now,
A new kingdom filled with peace.
So I give to the Lord my doubts and fears,
And seek to help others today.
I will offer my thanks, and trust in His Word,
And look for that better day!
